Lead Pastor
Brian Tubbs
Brian Tubbs has served as the Senior Pastor of Olney Baptist Church since September 2009. He has been in full-time Christian ministry (as a pastor and also as a Christian school teacher and administrator) since 2002. Prior to the ministry, he worked for several non-profit organizations in the Washington, DC area, focusing on project management, membership development, public relations, and lobbying.
​Pastor Tubbs holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from George Mason University, a M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty Theological Seminary (Liberty University), and a Certificate in Christian Apologetics from Biola University.
​He and his wife, Jane, have been married since 1992 and have a son and daughter. They enjoy watching the Washington Redskins (at least when they win), vacationing at the beach, and all-you-can-eat seafood buffets with Alaskan crab legs.
Youth & Children's Pastor
Kyle Engle
Pastor Kyle has worked at OBC since 2016. He has worked with students and children for 10 years. Prior to OBC, Kyle also worked worked with college students.

Kyle holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary studies with Christian Studies and Communications from North Greenville University is Greenville, SC and a Masters of Family Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas. He is about to begin Doctoral studies through The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lousiville, Kentucky.

Pastor Kyle and his wife, Kristin have been married since 2013 and have a two sons, Sawyer and Jace. They love to go camping, hiking, and doing anything outdoors.
Worship Director
Daniel Park
Daniel was born in Maryland but grew up on the mission field before returning to Maryland for college. He has had the pleasure of leading the worship ministry since 2016. Daniel has a BS in microbiology, MS in Global Disease Epidemiology and Control, and is working towards a PhD in Epidemiology. In addition to his role as a graduate teaching assistant and research assistant at George Washington University, he is also a faculty member in the Department of International Health at John Hopkins University.
Daniel likes to spend time with family and friends during his free time, and enjoys coffee, music, and soccer.
Marketing & Outreach Director
Kristin Engle
Kristin Engle has served OBC since February 2016. Originally from South Carolina, she lived in Fort Worth, Texas before relocating to Maryland. She holds a bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Communications from North Greenville University and she enjoys hiking, painting, cooking, and woodworking.
Ivonne Flores
Administrative
Coordinator
Ivonne Reyna was born and raised in the DMV area. She has been working in missions since 2018. She has a BA in Psychology and has a background in early childhood education.
Ivonne and her husband enjoy hiking, seafood, and exploring new places.
